At the end of Mental Health Awareness week and the first half term of distance learning, the Thornhill Primary school staff wanted to say a big thank you. Enjoy!

Welcome back Year 4  ! - Croeso nôl blwyddyn !

It is so lovely having you all back at school, thank you for coming back with smiles on your faces and for following our new routines sensibly. Here is some information that you may find useful for the next few weeks:

Daily routine

Throughout the day we will be providing a wide range of learning opportunities along with plenty of time to play outdoors. Our classroom windows and doors will be open to keep the air circulating so make sure you are dressed appropriately to prevent you getting cold in class. Your PE day is on Tuesday so please make sure you come to school wearing your PE KIT on this day.

Unfortunately due to current health and safety restrictions we have to limit what is being brought to school and taken home. This means that currently we are unable to send reading books and other homework home with you. We will be looking at creative ways we can set homework tasks over the next few weeks.

After school clubs

Unfortunately we are unable to run any after school clubs at school at the moment but we hope that we will be able to offer some online after school clubs soon. Watch this space!

Phone calls

If the adults who look after you need to chat with your teachers they will have to make a phone call to the school to arrange a meeting beforehand.
