A huge thank you to everyone for their kind words, cards and gifts at the end of term. The staff really appreciate every 'thank you' and although you should never feel like you need to get a card, we are all very grateful. It has been a pleasure teaching your children this year and we can't wait to see them back safely in September.

Prospectus for 2026-27

The prospectus for the new year has just been added to this website. It contains a page about staffing for next year. Please note that Mr Maclean will be on a secondment for the first two terms and his class will be covered by Miss Rahman until he returns. 

Vote for us at Tesco

There is still time to vote for us at Tesco! Thornhill Primary School have been selected to be part of a vote to potentially receive £1500 towards our Edible Garden project. I am sure that your children have told you how much they love working with Mrs Brown to grow their own fruit and vegetables, and then cooking them with Miss Lawrence, and this money would help us ensure that the project will continue.

You can vote for our project when you shop in the following Tesco stores, from Tuesday 28th April 2026 until the end of July 2026.
