Hot weather
Thank you for your support while we tried to keep your children cool in school. Next week is forecast cooler weather so normal Summer uniform should be worn please. Children still need a refillable water bottle and a sun hat. Please apply sun lotion to them before school. If you want to send them with their own NAMED bottle of sun lotion please feel free to, but the child must be able to apply it themselves and must not share it.
Road Safety congratulations
Congratulations to Alisa in Year 2 who entered a Road Safety competition and whose poster design is now going to be used in their social media across the city! Well done Alisa!

Vote for us at Tesco
Thornhill Primary School have been selected to be part of a vote to potentially receive £1500 towards our Edible Garden project. I am sure that your children have told you how much they love working with Mrs Brown to grow their own fruit and vegetables, and then cooking them with Miss Lawrence, and this money would help us ensure that the project will continue.
