Thornhill now has their own Senedd which will be made up of a team of AM’s who will represent each year group. The Senedd meet regularly during school hours. Thornhill Senedd gives the children the opportunity to have their say through Senedd meetings and so far this year they have met the Children's Commissioner for Wales, been to a Rights Fest celebration day, delivered assemblies, chosen films for movie nights, raised money for charity, launched anti racism campaigns and looked at ways of championing children's rights in school. The Senedd is made up of children from year 2-6 who have been voted in by their peers.
We are also working towards our Gold Rights Respecting School Award, and the Senedd are a key part of that.
