This week's news:
This week in Year 5 we have been super busy preparing for our big quiz and passion project display event. We have been using clay, paints, slides, Minecraft and Scratch to create big water based bonanza of our many talents.
Sports day was yesterday and we'd like to say a big well done to all of our competitors and a big thank you to all of our support. the children were brilliant and we hope all in attendance enjoyed it. We had 6 main events and a relay race, showcasing a multitude of skills including sprinting, throwing and balance.
In our maths this week we have continued to learn how to use Google sheets to manipulate data. This time we have created graphs and used ctrl-D to fill our formulae down a column. In our language we have focussed on our story writing skills, developing characters description and combining our setting writing skills to create a story.
