This week's news:
What a fun week we've had! We loved our VE day celebrations yesterday. We took part in a rotation of activities including learning some games from the 1940s like snap, pick up sticks, dominos and various dice games, writing our own diary entries imagining we were there for the first VE day celebration, made our own celebratory posters and decorated bunting for our party. In addition to this, in language we've been practising our spellings and looking closely at wordless picture books to come up with our own narrative. Then in maths we went on a scavenger hunt to find different objects of different lengths by practising our measuring skills. Finally, in PE we continued with our athletics theme where we moved onto jumping.
