This week's news:
During our penultimate (and very hot) week in Year 3 we have been recapping our times tables in maths by working in teams to answer the questions as quickly as possible. We've also revised symmetry by designing our own symmetrical lego pictures, some of us even made them 3D which was really impressive! In language we've been busy writing letters to our new teachers - Mr Gunthorp and Mrs Bayley are going to be amazed with our work! In topic we were asked the question 'Is Usain Bolt the most impressive sports person ever' and we had to discuss our opinions with our friends, it turns out we think there's lots of very impressive sports and we don't think you can compare them all because they're all so different. We loved our 'Record Breakers Ceremony' that many of you were able to attend (thank you!) and we enjoyed sharing what we've learnt with you - it was great to see so many families embracing the positive mindset and giving things a go!
