School is now closed for the Easter holidays and the foreseeable future. Teachers will be available for supporting distance learning from Monday 6th April at 9.30am.
More information will be shared with you over the coming days and weeks about how we will support children and their families.
In the meantime, over the next two weeks, children could:
play board games
read for at least 30 minutes a day
take some physical exercise
learn to put on their coat, tie shoe laces, dress themselves
play in the garden
help prepare food
tidy their bedrooms
There is now a wealth of ideas online about what parents can do with children at home and these will be of help over the coming weeks.

Our current topic is Traditional Tales
Each week we will read a different traditional tale. We are beginning with The Snow Queen and in the upcoming weeks we will also read stories such as Puss in Boots, The Elves and the Shoemaker, The Magic Porridge Pot and The Frog Prince. During this term, we will be making bread, oat biscuits and fruit kebabs, painting our reflections in a 'mirror' using tin foil, exploring the life cycle of a frog and learning about eggs and chicks. We are looking forward to our delivery of 'living eggs' when we will get to see eggs incubating and hatching, and then we can look after the chicks for a short time. We will also be having a Prince and Princess Ball on Thursday 5th March to celebrate World Book Day (further information to follow).
See the snaphot at the bottom of the page for details on how you can support your child at home.
