This week's news:
A fantastic continuation of last week in Year 5. It feels like we've been back for a while but only because it's been so easy to get routines going well due to our fabululous learners!
This week we have been getting well underway with everything War and Peace! We have begun to look at conflict as a whole and had Kendra in from Red Cross in to run a fantastic workshop on conflict, teaching us about the four pillars of resilience.
We've been rolling some seriously big numbers in our maths and chopping them up into partitions, just like we chopped those carrots for our amazing carrot muffins in PPA with Mrs Brown. In our language lessons we have been looking at synonyms and antonyms, generating interesting words for our future selves. We'll be washing away those boring words with some seriously interesting ones just like the rain nearly washed away some of our outdoor breaktimes this week. Luckily nobody was soluble!
