Year 5 Weekly Newsletter

This week has been 10% decimals, 40% fractions and 50% percentages. We have been working our percentages of pictures, grids and amounts. Converting fractions to percentages and looking at how we can write them as decimals too. Don't forget to look at our Google Classroom to practise what you have leant this week. I wonder what percentage of the Mathemeteg section is about percentages?

Well done to anyone who has impressed us with their Passion Projects so far this week too. The research and hard work that has gone into them has really revealed what Year 5 are passionate about. So many Giant Leaps to share and talk about - bendigedig pawb! We're looking forward to hearing more next week.

Diolch to Thornhill Church Centre who have hosted Easter Cracked for Year 5 again this year. It is always a pleasure to come and hear about why Easter is celebrated, in such a fun and interactive way.
