Year 5 Weekly Newsletter
This week in year 5 we have been well underway with preparation for the next week's Eisteddfod. We have been well underway with instrumental and singing auditions as well as our writing and handwriting competition tasks. We are super excited for the big day next Wednesday!
In our maths we have been looking at decimals and how they represent values less than a whole. Some tricky scenarios of finding bonds to 1 and adding and subtracting have been happening but we followed some simple steps and it took us all of 0.24 lessons to get there!We definitely need at least 0.75 of a weekend to recover before coming back to more!
In literacy we have begun to look at biographies and the features that come with them. Everything will be in third person and in chronological order for the coming week!
