Year 5 Weekly Newsletter

Our hard work on percentages has continued this week. After a refresher on multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100, we have filled in coin cards to work out the percentage of amounts. It was tricky at first, but once we had spotted the patterns some of us actually enjoyed it!

This week has also been about presenting our passion projects. We were very proud to show off our hard work with another school. The teacher who visited us was very impressed with the hard work, variety of topics and the amount of research that had gone into our inquiry this half term.

After Easter, we shall be welcoming Mrs Harvey to Year 5 whilst Mrs Shep becomes the student for a few weeks. We hope that everyone has a restful and fun filled Easter break. Well done for a great term's work everyone!
