This week's news:
This week has seen the children begin to learn more about their new Topic - One Giant Leap.
In Language the children have been exploring biographies as well as starting to research Martin Luther King in preparation to write a biography of him next week. In Maths we have been building on our knowledge of times tables and how that can help us answer division questions. We have also been exploring how we can use basic times tables to help us solve multiplication questions with larger numbers.
It is really important that the children continue to play on Times Tables Rockstars because knowing the times tables will really help the children in their Maths over the next few months.
In Topic, we have stuck to the theme of Martin Luther King and using his ‘ I have a dream’ speech as inspiration we discussed our dreams and began to create a page to display these dreams.
