This week's news:
It’s been a brilliant week of learning in Year 4 again!
In Language this week we have been learning about persuasive letter writing in the hope that next week we can write some very persuasive letters asking for resources to help with our pond projects.
In Maths we have focused on finding fractions of amounts. This was a bit tricky to begin with but the children have stuck at it and made great progress with this!
In Topic we have had a busy week with the children thinking carefully about what part of the pond topic they want to focus on. The children chose their favourite area of learning and then we sorted trams accordingly. The children then met with their teams and began to discuss plans and ideas - we are very excited to see what difference we can make to the pond area!
In amongst all of that we also had a great basketball taster session and a full run through ready for Sports Day - next Thursday morning.
