This week's news:

We have had a busy third week in Year 3! In Language, we have been exploring all things adjectives and using them to create exciting descriptions. Our focus text has been Rosie Revere, Engineer, and the children have written some lovely sentences describing Rosie and her character. They have also enjoyed using adjectives to describe their favourite characters and members of their families.

In Maths, we have been continuing our work on place value, focusing on adding and subtracting 10, 100 and 1,000 from different numbers and developing our understanding of how digits change depending on their place value.

In Inquiry, we have been tuning in to our new learning by exploring growth mindsets and discussing how we can keep both our minds and bodies healthy and happy. We have had some thoughtful conversations about resilience, wellbeing and positive attitudes towards learning. In Welsh, we have been learning a range of greetings and goodbyes and practising using them confidently in the classroom. We are very proud of all the hard work the children have put in this week.
