Croeso nôl! Welcome back! We hope you’ve all had a restful and happy break, thank you so much for all of the lovely cards and thoughtful gifts, we are really grateful! It has been lovely to see Year 3 again this week and they’ve jumped straight back into the school routine FULL of enthusiasm. This week we’ve been looking at how to use adjectives, nouns and verbs and have put them to good use writing Kenning poems about our favourite animals! In Maths we’ve looked at multiplying and dividing 2 digit numbers, both by using partitioning as well as by employing the help of manipulatives such as Diene’s blocks. We’ve started the ‘Going Further’ section of our inquiry, where the learning is led to a greater extent by the individual preferences and interests of the pupils. They have grouped themselves to look at different aspects of technology and how it is applied in different areas of our lives, with half the group undertaking research and the other half setting up their presentations on Google Slides to display their findings. We look forward to another busy half term in Year 3! Have a nice weekend!!
