This week's news:
A BUSY week this week in Year 3, trying to squeeze as much as we could into four days, including our Summer term reading and numeracy tests. Alongside the testing we’ve still found time to wrap up our work on money, continuing to practise finding change, converting from pence to pounds as well as adding / subtracting money using the column method. Our afternoons have been mostly spent continuing our story work, designing advertising posters for our stories, continuing to type up drafts as well as starting to practise using purple pen to peer assess one another’s work. We’ve been hard at work practising for sports day which is coming up in just a couple of weeks and we were also very fortunate to take part in basketball taster sessions, which Year 3 got stuck right into!
