This week's news:

Over half way through this half term already? Time flies when you’ve got a panto to learn, but Year 3 have made an awesome start at practising their songs and lines - we can’t wait for you to see it in a couple of weeks! Language this week has seen us focussing on different forms of note taking, reading blocks of texts and drawing key pieces of information to help make information more concise. We’ve also converted story books into 6 frame comic strips to work on identifying key plot points in stories. Maths has seen us continue or work on the 4x tables, drawing arrays and using manipulatives to help visualise the questions we’re tackling. Finally, in our inquiry work, we’ve been focussing on sorting out everything we’ve learnt so far, organising our thoughts on the benefits and risks of increased reliance on gadgets & gizmos using thinking hats, and then planning out the direction of the inquiry going forward to ensure that everyone is able to pursue a direction of learning that interests them.
