This week's news:
Well that went by in a flash! We’re already half a term into the new year and both classes have well and truly settled into Year 3 life. We’ve rounded off the half term with our Celebrating Differences week, which has given us the chance to not only discuss the things that make us unique, but celebrate them as well. We’ve completed our Inside Out and All Around topic by laying out kindness rocks around Thornhill in readiness for today’s kindness walk. In Maths we’ve continued our work on subtraction, playing subtraction games, completing subtraction number sentences and we have also used our 2D shape knowledge to sketch out some buildings that can come together to create a diverse community. Our language work has seen us performing our play scripts and writing out messages about creating a positive and caring community. We look forward to seeing everyone for our kindness walk and Celebrating Differences display. Have a lovely half term all!!
