This week's news:
It was presentation time this week in Year 3 as we begin to draw our gadgets & gizmos inquiry to a close. We were so impressed by the confidence with which every member of Year 3 presented their technology research yesterday and it was lovely to see all of their group work coming together. Outside of the inquiry, it's been more persuasive writing this week as we've been finalising our letters to Mr. Tucker with requests for changes that could be made to the school, with requests ranging from 'a classroom for sleeping' to 'make the school more Star Wars'. We've also been learning about how to pitch ideas, coming up with inventions and using our persuasive devices to emphasise the key selling points. Lastly, maths has seen us focussing on patterns and symbols, recognising number sequences and balancing equations.
