This week's news:

Gwanwyn Hapus Pawb! The sun is shining (ish), the sky is blue (ish), the easter bunny is waking up (probably) and Year 3 has whizzed through yet another term. It’s been a busy week to finish on! Language has seen us writing diary entries from the perspective of a child working in the mines during the industrial revolution. Meanwhile, in maths we’ve been wrapping up our working on fractions, with perseverance being a common denominator across both classes. Our inquiry had led us to find out more about the different layers that can be found underground the deeper you dig and how events in each layer can impact the surface. We’ve also been working on pop up Easter / Spring cards which have turned out daffodil-ightful! We hope everyone has a wonderful and restful couple of weeks - if at any point you find yourself thinking ‘if only there was a convenient place I could go and find some suggestions for homework activities that have been helpfully broken down into 3 different levels of challenge’, then please do check out the homework grid for our current inquiry on the Year 3 web page and upload anything the children are proud of to the Google Classroom.
