This week's news:
Where did that half term go? How are we half way through Year 3 already? How many rhetorical questions is it reasonable to use to kick off a Year 3 Newsletter? This week in Year 3 we've been going back over our work on fractions, dividing manipulatives into equal amounts as well as ordering fractions along number lines. Meanwhile, language has seen us doing our Eisteddfod handwriting, writing sentences using contraction words and writing all sorts of exciting stories in our free writing books. Lastly, in our topic work we've been writing some Eisteddfod dragon poems, using alliteration, similes and lots of wonderfully dragonish descriptive language. A special thank you to the Lego Club, which has been really enjoyed by many of the children in Year 3! We hope everyone has a restful half term and we look forward to seeing you all in a week!
