This week's news:

Well I can imagine Year 3 are exhausted after all their hard work this week - as well as from 3 lots of Sports Day practise - and they all deserve a seriously restful weekend! This week in Maths our focus has been on measuring angles and we’ve leapt into the world of protractors - it's acute place but the weather can be unpredictable (sometimes hitting 180 degrees!) We’ve practised reading angles using protractors and even experimented with using them to draw mystery shapes. In language we’ve gone back to building up some of our core writing skills, working on our handwriting and letter formation through silly sentences as well as completing spelling challenges to work on some of the words we've found more challenging! In our inquiry we’re just starting to wrap up now, finishing off our information booklets - which we’ll be inputting into Notebook LM to generate slide decks to present our findings to the rest of the class. We look forward to seeing you all on Sports Day next Thursday!
