This week's news:
Another whirlwind week in Year 3 this week! We’ve been writing letters to our next teacher in readiness for the new school year to tell them a little bit about ourselves. We’ve also been writing book reviews of books we enjoy - and it has been so lovely to see how far their writing has come along since their film reviews in the autumn term. Maths has seen us refreshing the column method, using it to work with three digit numbers - which has come in handy for discussing the weather this week - presumably it must be AT LEAST 900 degrees Celsius. The children have all been wonderful though throughout the heat, producing some really lovely work. In our inquiry work we’ve made posters / slideshows to show other people the steps to becoming a record breaker, and we’ve also practised breaking some of our own personal records.
