This week's news:
Things have been heating up in Year 3 this week… literally! We are so proud of how well all of the children managed in the weather conditions and with changes to the usual routine. When in school this week the children have been completing their self reports, thinking back over the year and all of the things they've enjoyed. They've also taken on a range of phonics challenges, practising some of the trickier sounds from this year. We've had fun in maths this week, trying out a range of different maths based board games and rounding off the week with a great big Kahoot! We haven't had a lot of time for inquiry this week, but have had a practice drawing Wonder inspired portraits ready for some work we'll be doing next week. We’ve also made the most of our green pen time, checking back through pieces of work and showing a growth mindset to make our work even better!
