This week's news:
Another brilliant week in Year 3! We’ve really settled into our new classes and have been getting stuck into our first topic. Big Moose came in to visit us and discuss some of the work we’ll be doing on showing kindness in school and in our wider community. We’ve also finished off our spotty Big Moose art work, friendship recipes and ‘about me’ pages. In Maths, we’ve explored different ways of making numbers using addition, subtraction and multiplication and have really challenged ourselves. Literacy this week has seen us start to think about our new class novel, ‘The Worries, Sohal Finds a Friend’. We’ve written character profiles for Sohal and some of his worry monsters, and have made use of Thesaurus’ to find WOW words to describe them. For our Free Writing, we’ve been writing autobiographies, discussing our lives in chronological order. Finally, in PE this week we’ve begun our work on tag rugby, which we really enjoyed earlier this week.
