This week's news:
It's been another boiling hot week and Year 2 have been doing their best to stay cool. We have worked really hard despite the heat. We learnt about our final record breaker this week when we read all about Taylor Swift's life and her amazing achievements. It led us on to thinking about our own dreams and what we want to do when we are bigger. We have also finished our investigation into the best way for someone to improve. We found out that natural talent is often not enough and instead it is really important to practise our skills regularly. We also know that the food we eat, how much sleep we have and how much water we drink are very important in helping us to get better at something. We finished the week with a cool treat - just in time for the weekend!
