This week's news:

What a lovely week in Year 2!  We have enjoyed exploring adjectives in our writing.  We have read and listened to the story Owl Moon, written some fantastic descriptions and also drawn some beautiful art work based on the descriptions we have read.  In Maths, we have been developing our subtraction skills and re-visiting our fact family work.  We all thoroughly enjoyed our hockey taster session this week for PE and the children showed some great skills.  We have also started to discuss the benefits and the downsides of using AI.  The children loved creating their own images and were able to describe their pictures carefully.  We have looked at the ways in which we play music has changed over time from gramophones to cassettes to CD players and the children have loved learning about these changes.  As the weather has now become much colder please can all children make sure they have coats in school every day as we will continue to be using our outdoor areas as much as possible.  Have a great weekend everyone and we look forward to next week already.
