This week's news:
We have had a great first week back in Year 2 and what a scorcher it has been! In maths we have been focusing on our subtraction skills and also solving some tricky maths problems. Our story focus this week has been ‘The Day the Crayons Quit’ and ‘The Day the Crayons Came Home.’ We have written postcards and recounts about a trip and we have also written kindness postcards to each other. We have been learning all about Australia and have created some interesting fact files and some beautiful art work. We have also enjoyed this beautiful weather through our PE sessions, gardening and making refreshing summer drinks. What a great week Year 2!
