This week's news:
We have had another fabulous week in Year 2 carrying on with our learning about measuring in maths. This week we have turned our attention to length. We have all been out and about measuring lots of things around the school and in the grounds. We've used rulers, measuring tapes and trundle wheels and measured in centimetres and metres. We read about a famous record breaker - Amelia Earhart. We found out all about her daring adventures in the skies. We have been trying to break our own records practising skills like catching coins and building houses out of cards. Today we are very excited as it is the school Summer Fayre at 3:30. We will hopefully see you there. Have a lovely weekend.
