Reception News 

This week in Reception has been full of festive fun and exciting learning!

🎄 Christmas Crafts
We’ve been busy creating beautiful Christmas cards, practicing our cutting, sticking, and creative skills.

📚 Story Time
Our focus story has been The Owl Who Came for Christmas, based on a true event! The children have enjoyed drawing the owl and the living room where he was found during Drawing Club. We even created maps to help the owl find his way home.

🔍 Science – Forces and Motion
We explored how things move by being pushed, pulled, and spun. A highlight was playing tug of war with Mrs Jackson – a great way to learn about forces in action!

🎶 Christmas Concert
We’ve been learning more songs for our upcoming Christmas Concert. Please remember to send in costumes if you haven’t already done so.
