This Week in Class

What an exciting week we’ve had! Mr. Bayley heard a strange knocking sound coming from the bin … and inside, he discovered two little aliens! He brought them to reception, and we’ve been looking after them ever since.

We showed them around the classroom and explained what life on Earth is like. They told us something amazing: on their planet, all the fruit and vegetables are silver! To help them learn about Earth, we explored the different textures and colors of real fruits and vegetables.

We also looked at I see… I think… I wonder photos and discussed fascinating space images. You can continue the conversation at home by visiting Google Classroom.

Our story of the week was Aliens Love Underpants, which everyone enjoyed!

In PE, we had hockey sessions where we learned how to hold the stick, stop the ball, and hit it correctly…lots of fun and great teamwork!

In literacy, we’ve been learning the rhyme Hickory Dickory Dock and practicing numbers on the clock. Plus, we learned how to sing “1, 2, 3 banana” in Welsh!

Next week we will be reading the story Mole’s Star.
