🌙 This Week in ClassWe’ve had a wonderful time diving into the story Mole’s Star. Inspired by Mole’s adventures, we explored shiny objects using torches and discovered how light bounces back when things are shiny. The children enjoyed hunting for shiny treasures around the classroom and learning about reflection in a hands-on way. Our imaginations took us even further as we searched for aliens with our “magic torches.” Each alien had a name built from CVC words, giving us lots of practice with early phonics and word building. We also became scientists, investigating “moon rocks” and comparing their weights. Using the language of “heavier than” and “lighter than,” the children experimented with everyday objects to understand differences in weight. 🎄 Looking AheadNext week, we’ll be stepping into the festive season with plenty of Christmas activities. From crafts and storytelling to seasonal games, it promises to be a joyful week full of sparkle, creativity, and celebration.
