This Week in Class

We’ve had an exciting week of learning! In Drawing Club, we explored the Monster Phonics story ***Jack Went Up, which gives a fun twist on the classic Jack and the Beanstalk*. The children enjoyed writing sentences about the characters and sharing their ideas.**

We’ve also been practising our sewing skills and proudly created festive Christmas stockings perfect for the holiday season!

In Science, we investigated forces and discovered how different surfaces affect the speed of cars. The children loved experimenting and making predictions about what would happen.

In Maths, we read the story The Last Chip and learned all about sharing equally. It was a great way to combine storytelling with problem-solving!

We are all excited to perform in our Christmas Concert next week and look forward to seeing you there.
