🎩 Adventures with Mr Benn

We’ve been watching the classic cartoon Mr Benn and following him on his magical adventures. This helped us think about jobs we might like when we grow up and sparked lots of creative conversations.

📝 Factfiles & Presenting Skills

We continued writing our factfiles and practised using a louder, clearer speaking voice. Next week, we’ll be presenting our information to Year 1, so we’ve been working on confidence, posture, and speaking in full sentences.

🤖 Bee‑Bot Programming & Debugging

We learned how to program bee‑bots and discovered what happens when instructions go wrong. When our teachers followed our drawing instructions, the “person” looked nothing like a person — so we had to debug the instructions to fix them. A great lesson in giving clear, step‑by‑step directions.

💦 Keeping Cool in the Hot Weather

The sunshine has been lovely but warm, so we stayed cool with:

• Water play

• Soaking our feet in cool water

• A refreshing hose‑pipe spray

Lots of laughter, lots of learning, and lots of teamwork.
