This week's news

Another wonderful week in Reception this week. After a restful break, we have been blown away by how quickly the children have settled back into the school routine and have really gotten stuck into their work on dinosaurs. We kickstarted the week learning how to interview one another, the children took turns recording each other, asking questions about their favourite dinosaurs. We’ve used our newfound dinosaur expertise to design our own hybrid dinosaurs cooperatively, creating fact files which we’ll use to help with constructing masterpieces for our Jurassic Park exhibition. We’ve also brushed up on our 2D shapes, learning to identify shapes out in the world, and using a range of 2D shapes to create dinosaurs as part of a group. Have a nice weekend everyone!
