This week in Drawing Club, we have been reading the wonderful story Beautiful Oops!, which reminds us that mistakes can often turn into something amazing. Inspired by the story, we created our very own Scribble Monsters, designed imaginative homes for them to live in, and even took them on exciting day trips! The children loved letting their creativity shine and discovering that there is no such thing as a mistake in art.

We  enjoyed our very first P.E. sessions of the year. The children had great fun taking part in listening games and parachute activities, showing fantastic teamwork, enthusiasm and lots of smiles!

 In the garden, we have been busy little helpers. We pulled up weeds, explored the outdoor area, and had lots of fun in the mud kitchen creating magical potions. Our outdoor learning has encouraged plenty of imaginative play and teamwork.

 We have been creating beautiful self-portraits to brighten up our classroom. The children have worked so hard on their artwork, and we are looking forward to displaying their fantastic creations.

We have enjoyed the first week of our Monster Phonics …. We have been learning the letters s a t p. Can you find things at home beginning with these sounds?

 One of the highlights of the week has been sharing our Chatterbags with our friends. The children have loved talking about their special experiences, favourite places and treasured memories. It has been wonderful to discover how many shared interests and experiences they have. If your child has not yet brought in their Chatterbag, please send it in soon. We can't wait to hear all about it!
