🌟 Week 3 Newsletter

This week we’ve been enjoying the story There’s No Such Thing as Dragons. In Drawing Club, the children explored exciting vocabulary such as disbelief, quest, seeking, investigating, and truthful. They drew pictures of their favourite storyteller, designed their own secret dens, and took their dragons on imaginative adventures—choosing where they might hide and where they would take them on a special trip.

➕ Maths

In Maths, we have been learning how to add two numbers together. The children have been using Numicon and other manipulatives to support their understanding. We are practising holding the biggest number in our heads and counting on. They are becoming much more confident with this strategy.

💐 Mother’s Day

We’ve also been busy preparing for Mother’s Day. The children have created beautiful cards and written thoughtful messages for their mums. We hope you enjoy them.

🌱 Outdoor Learning

Out in the garden, we’ve been hard at work cleaning the greenhouse and preparing the beds for planting. Planting season is just around the corner, and the children are excited to get started.
