Mrs Dennes - Year 1 teacher
Hi! I'm Mrs. Dennes and I've been teaching for over 25 years—15 of those here at Thornhill Primary. Before that, I taught at another local school for 10 years. I absolutely love being in the classroom and helping children grow in confidence, especially when it comes to reading. I'm really passionate about sharing my love of books and helping every child discover stories they enjoy.
Outside school, I love camping, listening to music, curling up with a good book (and a bag of crisps!), and spending time with my family. I have two grown-up daughters, Hannah and Katie, and a very supportive husband. We've recently added a new member to the family—a mischievous kitten called Trixie, who’s already ruling the house!
