Monster Phonics

This year we have introduced the program Monster Phonics to support the children's literacy development. We have daily, whole class phonics sessions each morning during which the children learn sounds, letters, high frequency words and decodable words. The program uses 10 monsters who change the sounds and colours of letters to help the children identify language patterns, supporting them to read independently with confidence.
