Miss Jones - Year 2 teacher
I am Miss Jones and I have worked in Thornhill Primary School for over 20 years! I have worked in Year 3, Year 5 and Year 6 and am currently a Year 2 teacher. Growing up I always wanted to be a teacher and used to role play being the teacher and my older brother would have to be the child in my pretend class! I love my job and I love being part of this school. I love working with the children in my class and seeing them develop and grow. They put a smile on my face every day.
I have a partner and a daughter, she is five and she definitely keeps me busy! We also have a Miniature Labradoodle called Preston. We love to take him for long walks on the weekends and he especially loves a trip to the beach. I love reading and cooking although I don’t seem to get as much time for this anymore! I also love spending time with friends and family and love nothing more than having everyone over to our house for a bbq in the garden.
