Miss Raj - Reception teacher
Hello! I’m Miss Raj and I currently teach Reception at Thornhill. I’m known for hosting classroom yoga sessions, cooking Welsh cakes and singing about numbers.
One of my favourite subjects to teach is literacy which I really struggled with at school because I am dyslexic. I know how it feels to sit in the classroom and not know what’s going on, so it’s my mission to make sure that doesn’t happen to my students!
I run the school Debate Club where I let the children lead the debates on topics they are interested in.
Outside of school you’ll find me playing netball, baking dairy free cakes and starting crochet projects…
