This one might be tricky.......
We haven't had much snow over the past few years but you don't need much to build a snowman. A cm on the ground could make a brilliant mini snow man, or why not put the ice in the garden when you defrost the freezer and let the children experience the science of what happens to the ice when you touch it, how it feels and how to make it stick together? How can you add the arms? How hard can you press before it breaks? What happens when you squeeze it?
On a snowy day you are most likely to get more coverage on high ground, so if it is safe to do so then make your way to Caerphilly Mountain!
