Collective Worship

Collective Worship

We are a school filled with different beliefs and religions and we are very proud of the diversity in our school. We welcome lots of visitors into school to tell us about their religions and have recently had assemblies from local churches, mosques and synagogues. A lot of our assemblies are linked to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and we are already a School of Sanctuary, a Silver Rights Respecting School and are working towards being a Gold Rights Respecting School.

We also have a weekly Stars assembly where we celebrate children's achievements in all areas of the curriculum, out of school and in Welsh.

There is national guidance about what happens in our assemblies. Please click on the link to find out what the legal requirement for Collective Worship is in Wales.
