PE
PE days are Mondays & Wednesdays.
Please send children in on these days wearing their PE kits.
What to bring to school (Pencil Cases, Water Bottles, Snack)
Children may bring in small pencil cases if they wish. These will be kept in their trays.
Please do not send toys into school (where there may be a specific need, please contact your child’s teacher).
Children may bring in water bottles during the day - no juice or squash.
Please send a healthy fruit snack in with your child for mid-morning break time.
Homework
Termly homework grids will be on the website and on our Google Classroom. Children may complete these tasks as and when they like.
Reading Books
In Year 4, we encourage a love of reading and for children to read at home as much as possible.
Home reading books will be chosen by the children themselves to encourage reading for pleasure. The children will have a set day to choose their home reading book each week. If your child does not finish their book within the week, that is absolutely fine - all they need to do is wait for their next swap day.
Google Classroom
Our Year 4 Google Classroom is all set up and ready to go! The classroom is accessed using your child's Hwb log-in and password. Please email your child's class teacher if you do not recall your log-in details. Information and homework will occasionally be shared through the classroom, so please check in regularly.
