Thornhill Primary School was part of the first cohort of Lead Creative Schools in 2015. Since the programme began we have run a number of projects related to our school improvement plan which have focused on development of literacy skills. Opportunities have included film making and working with actors in role and puppeteers.
Since the programme began in 2015 the school has gone on to gain funding for the period 2019-2020 to take part in the 'Creative Leaders' programme. This is an opportunity for our school to work collaboratively with two other schools within the region for the benefit of our learners.
